By using Klass, you agree to these terms. They're short on purpose. If you do not agree, please do not use Klass.
1. Who can use Klass
Klass accounts are for adults 18 years of age or older. By creating an account, you confirm you are 18+. Children under 18 should not create accounts; children under 13 should not use Klass at all.
2. The service
Klass provides AI-generated content to help parents support their children's learning, help teachers plan lessons, help schools teach AI literacy, and help adult learners build practical skills. The service is provided as-is, with the understanding that AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or misleading.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password and contact us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Your inputs and our outputs
You retain rights to the content you submit (homework problems, lesson topics, transcripts, etc.). By submitting content, you give us permission to:
- Send your inputs to our AI provider (DeepSeek) to generate a response
- Store the inputs and outputs in your account so you can revisit them
- Use anonymized, aggregated data (with personal details stripped) to improve the service in the future
Don't submit anything you don't have rights to share — for example, copyrighted material in a way that violates copyright, or someone else's personal information without permission.
5. Acceptable use
Don't:
- Use Klass to create content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, sexual involving minors, or that violates someone's rights
- Try to extract Klass's prompts or model outputs to compete with us
- Scrape, automate, or hammer the service in ways that aren't reasonable human use
- Submit malware, attempt to break our security, or probe for vulnerabilities (responsible disclosure: email
security@klass.app) - Resell access without our written permission
6. AI content disclaimer
Klass generates responses using a large language model. These responses can contain factual errors ("hallucinations"), outdated information, biased perspectives, or content that's simply wrong. Always use your own judgment, especially for anything that affects a real decision.
7. Suspension and termination
You can delete your account at any time from your account page. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that put the service at risk.
8. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We don't promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Klass and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim — and Klass is currently free, so this is typically $0.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will post the new terms here and update the date above. Continued use of Klass after changes means you accept them.
